Bid Management & Planning
bid smarter
We work with your team to manage bids in a structured way that achieves high quality proposals affordably. This includes managing documentation, planning, drafting, editing, reviews and submission on your behalf.
If you already have a bid management methodology, then we can work within your processes or suggest improvements.
We make the best possible use of your resources and respect your valuable time.
If you are new to competing for work, then we can manage your bid by creating a management system that is appropriate for your business and the way you work. We apply recognised best practice leveraged from Shipley Bid Management, PRINCE2, MSP, change management and design models.
We bring innovation, imagination and just a sprinkle of creative fairy dust to every bid we work on.

Storyboarding
articulate your strengths
We understand that organisations panic when a tender lands.
The temptation is to rush off and start writing answers.
We find that this rarely produces good proposals.

'Storyboarding' is often missed altogether. Storyboarding provides a visual summary of the structure and major parts of a proposal. It allows us to make sure that everybody understands what the client has asked, how the bid will be evaluated and allows us to start thinking about how we will structure the answer. Storyboarding provides the backbone of strong, well-written and structured proposals. It is best done in as a group to leverage the power of brainstorming.
We can run storyboard workshops face-to-face, either online or in your offices. We also run strategic workshops if you need them, to help you articulate your win themes, unique selling points and address client hot buttons.

Bid Writing
answering the question
It is surprising how difficult it can be to answer the client's questions in a tender. We find that our customers often answer the question they wished the client has asked instead! We take the time during storyboarding to ensure we all understand what the question means - before we start answering it.

We also understand that the subject matter experts who have the answers are not always the best people to write the responses.
We work flexibly alongside your subject matter experts to coax the answers from them in the way that is comfortable for them and gives us the facts we need to articulate strong responses.

If you have a house style and brand guidelines, then we will respect these and apply them to your proposals. We will recommend a review process, including proofreading, at bid kick-off to help quality assure our work. After all, material sent out with your company's name on it is part of your shop window...
